Every year, we get hundreds of testimonies, spoken and written, about how much our students grew and were impacted during a Leadership Congress with us. We are especially excited to share these with you as Leadership Congresses will be starting soon! If you know a 16-25-year-old who would be interested in attending, please share this with them! Rocky Mountain Leadership Congress
“I can honestly say that I would not be where I am today with Patriot Academy’s influence. When you attend an LC, you don’t solely focus on learning the legislative process, though that is a large part of your week. The people around you push you to learn and grow, to get outside your comfort zone. You practice communication skills, hear from passionate speakers from across the country, and engage in the most realistic legislative simulation in the country. If you want to grow, intellectually and spiritually, Leadership Congress is definitely for you!” (Charlotte, RMLC)
“Leadership Congress was an amazing, transformational experience for me. I got to fellowship with like-minded believers and build lasting friendships. I was able to develop opinions on certain topics I had never thought about before. I also learned several tips about speaking in public that I have been trying to put into practice. Overall, by God’s grace, I would like to return next year.” (Naomi, RMLC)
Southeast Leadership Congress
“If you want to lock shields with like-minded patriots, come to PA! If you want to be a vital link in the chain of liberty, come to PA! If you want to fellowship with other believers and the LORD…come to PA! It’s not for everyone, but for the ones who would rise up and strive with all they have to preserve America, Patriot Academy is the place to be!” (Will, SELC)
“Through attending a Leadership Congress, I learned valuable information about current issues, campaigning strategies, and why preserving liberty and morality matters from the gifted speakers there. I have often been inspired to stand up for what is right, but I now have the knowledge and confidence to do it. I enjoyed Leadership Congress so much and am now much more interested in state and local politics! I am exceedingly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to being recharged at Patriot Academy again in the future!” (Bless, SELC)
National Leadership Congress
“Patriot Academy is the only place where they not only teach America’s founding principles and history, but also encourage and equip you for civic engagement – from confidently sharing with friends and family to running for elected office! Patriot Academy is everything you never learned in school and like no other institution in America.” (Abby, NLC)
“The leadership congress experience was such a great time and a week that I will never forget. From learning the legislative process, debating house bills, having skilled speakers, and getting to have committee sessions. It all was incredible and life changing. I have grown in my leadership qualities and communication skills while there. The National Leadership Congress is a great way for young people to get out of our comfort zones and get to learn from each other while entering floor debate.
“It is such a pleasure to be able to be educated and grow while also placing God first in every way. Before even arriving at the Legislative Hall, many students enter into a time of prayer and worship outside the cottages for around 30 minutes. It is amazing to have peers place God first and then enter worship and devotion after breakfast in the Legislative Hall.” (Brice, NLC)
“The National Leadership Congress is one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had! The hope that it’s not too late to save our Country and it can be restored to the values she was founded upon is so clear and alive! Meeting fellow like-minded patriots walking along with you in the fight to restore Freedom and Liberty is so encouraging. Debating your bill with some of your best friends is very fun, but it also opens your eyes to other views. Patriot Academy has truly made an incredible impact on my life.” (Ezra, NLC)
